Scope & Scale

OSCDL is in the process of collecting material within the following scopes:

  1. Strong City Center: Downtown and Neighborhoods-to include neighborhood community plans
  2. Regional Plans and Government: key plans that have impacted the multicounty region
  3. Natural Environment: capturing the livability aspects of Portland planning
  4. Transportation: multimodal means of movement in use
  5. Citizen Action and Participation: key reports reflecting the impact of citizen involvement
The OSCDL will use the following scales for collection development:
  1. Multistate reports: such as JPACT (Joint Policy Advisory Committee on Transportation)
  2. Region: to include Metro reports
  3. City/County reports, documents, and data
  4. District: focusing on key neighborhoods and projects
